Justin Wong Founder - Guitar - Piano

Justin has been teaching music for eight years and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Teaching. He is a primary school Performing Arts Teacher and the Founder of Music Teachers Melbourne, the largest social network of music teachers in Melbourne. During university, Justin pursued his touring, recording, and performing career as the lead guitarist in the rock band Rejuvenate and as a singer/guitarist in the heavy metal band Tides Collide.

Justin specialises in electric and acoustic guitar lessons, mainly using the new AMEB Rockschool Curriculum. He is dedicated to helping young people find their own musical voice.

Liam O’Neill - Piano - Voice - Trumpet

Liam is a Melbourne-based multi-instrumentalist with over a decade of performance experience. Having completed his Bachelor of Music back in 2021 and trained in both classical and jazz traditions, he has a holistic understanding of the inner workings of the musical pedagogy.

As a performer Liam is a versatile and creative force, drawing from a diverse array of inspirations from Miles Davis to Erykah Badu, and Glenn Gould to Michael McDonald. Over the years since, he has found himself on the stage with many other incredible musicians such as Grant Windsor, Mat Jodrell, Angela Davis, Carl Mackey amongst many others. He currently performs with his own band, iamLiam, drawing upon and combining his extensive musical tastes into a relentlessly driving and immersive contemporary sound.

Liam specialises in Piano, Voice and Trumpet. He prioritises the nurturing of a healthy relationship with music which supports the learning of the foundations of Piano technique and an understanding of the inner workings of the music. He has developed this ethos through his years of teaching. Liam’s priority is to garner exponential improvement led by the inherently pure joy that music brings in a low-pressure, understanding environment.

Ned Dempsey - Guitar - Drums

Ned is a young and diverse musician currently studying a Bachelor of Music Performance in Contemporary guitar at The University of Melbourne. With valuable performance and teaching experience, he is eager to share his knowledge with students of all ages. Ned's unique understanding of learners of all ages allows him to guide them through exams and casual musical interests.
