Our Learning Culture:

  • We do not tolerate abuse and bullying of any form.

  • We endeavour to support, encourage and include everyone in our programs.

  • Every student is expected to practice daily, even if it’s just for 15 minutes.

  • $80 - 60 minutes

All prices include GST.

Lesson MANAGEMENT

Our music lessons are managed by the Student Portal at My Music Staff.com.
All students, parents and staff members receive a username and password to log in upon introduction to our school.
We encourage 100% attendance to all music lessons, but we understand that life happens.

LESSON CANCELLATION AND MAKE-UP LESSONS

A lesson can be rescheduled with 48 hours’ notice provided the student gives us a reason in writing.
We will do our best to look at our timetable to book another lesson that week.
If we are unable to do so, a make-up credit is issued in this instance.
Make-up lessons are also offered in instances of bereavement and medical absence.
A medical certificate is highly encouraged for medical absences.
If a lesson is cancelled with insufficient notice (less than 48 hours notice), it will be billable and the teacher will be paid.
Make-up lesson credits are completed within the term to encourage teacher and student attendance.
Teachers will only be paid when the make-up lesson is completed. They will open up make-up lesson slots during the term and school holidays through My Music Staff.
From Term 3 2022, make-up lessons cannot be rolled over to the following school term — we do not offer cash discounts or rollover credits.

TEACHER ABSENCE

All teachers are committed to submitting their availability at the start of the year, attending their lessons and sticking to a regular timetable for the rest of the year.
If a teacher cannot make their lesson due to a medical absence or bereavement, we will issue a make-up lesson to students.
A medical certificate is highly encouraged for medical absences.
As above, teachers will only be paid when the make-up lesson is completed. They will open up make-up lesson slots during the term and school holidays through My Music Staff.
If a teacher cannot make their weekly lesson, it is their responsibility to notify students and families 1 week in advance. In this instance, either a make-up lesson will be issued or a replacement teacher will take their place.

EXTRA LESSONS

We love it when we can have extra lessons with you!

A lesson can be scheduled with 48 hours’ notice through My Music Staff. We will update your future invoice to reflect extra lessons taken.

CHANGES TO ENROLMENT

We give 100% of ourselves to our music lessons at Leaders of Rock. But we understand life happens.
Once booked, the timetable for music lessons with your teacher is set for the rest of the year unless we receive a request in writing from the student or teacher.
If a student wants to change their lesson time for the following term, they must inform us at least 2 weeks before the current term ends.
An administration fee of 2 lessons will be charged if it is less than 2 weeks' notice.
If a student wishes to stop their music lessons at Leaders of Rock, they must give us a 2-week notice in writing.
We want to avoid awkward conversations. Please pay all outstanding fees before departure.

Media Waiver Policy

During events, photos and videos of you and your children may be taken. Leaders Of Rock may use this media to spread the word on social media channels. Please indicate upon enrolment if you would not like your child’s photo to be published by writing an email to us.

By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you respect and honour the agreement with Leaders of Rock. Consistent failure to meet these expectations will result in your departure from our music school.

Looking forward to being a part of your musical journey!
